These colours can be used as plain colours or mixed to create a vertical striped pattern.
Commercial Uses for Chain Screens
Made from durable anodised aluminium these flyscreens are both attractive and decorative and provide an essential part of a good pest control programme. Chain Screens have a number of applications including door screens, flyscreens for windows, or room dividers in retail outlets, providing a barrier between the sales area and preparation areas. The easy walk-through design of the fly screens makes them ideal for keeping out unwanted flying insects whilst still allowing fresh air to circulate.
VIP flyscreens are durable and easy to keep clean and provide a degree of privacy from the outside. They are also approved by Environmental Health Officers and many thousands are in use in shops, restaurants, cafes and busy kitchens throughout the UK. Unlike mesh flyscreen doors they are suitable for shop front doors as well as preparation and cooking areas.
Domestic Uses for Chain Screens
Chain fly screens are not only decorative, they are also functional - they help to keep flying insects out. They also help provide extra privacy as they are easy to see out, but make it difficult to see in.
Remember chain flyscreens help keep flying insects out whilst letting fresh air in.
Chain flyscreens have been used extensively in the food industry for many years as they offer protection from flying insects, but provide easy "walk through" access. This will allow your pet access to the outside whilst keeping out flying insects.
Insect Screens can be fitted internally or externally, can be easily removed and are quick and simple to install, needing only two or three screws.
When measuring for a door, take opening size and add 20mm (3/4") to width and height. When measuring windows take opeing size and add 20mm (3/4") to width and 50mm (2") to height.
Your fly screen comes complete with fixing screws but if you require a more attractive alternative or you are fitting onto a UPVC frame we recommend fixing brackets, shown left.
