High grade Aluminium is used to make our Chain Screen Hanging Rail which is rigid and suitable for use in both domestic and commercial environments. At Sway we stock 2 different types of hanging rail. Standard knit has 78 holes per metre.  A popular choice and meets most domestic customer requirements & Close knit that has 100 holes per metre, which is suited to installations that need more privacy.

Both standard and close knit are available in 4 colours: Silver, White, Brown and Black, in lengths up to 150 cm. Any lengths ordered between 120cm and 150cm will be cut into 2 equal lengths. If you would like the rail in 1 piece please contact us as the shipping rate will vary. We can cut your rail to an exact size if required and also provide longer lengths. Chain Fly Screens can be fitted internally or externally, can be easily removed and are quick and simple to install, needing only two or three screws. Brackets can also be purchased from related products.

When measuring for a door or window chain fly screen, take the opening size and add 2cm (0.75") to the width so the screen overlaps the frame.

The brackets that can be purchased separately are 35mm in depth and you need an additional 15mm (50mm in total) clearance above the door/window so that the hanging rail can be hooked over the top. The brackets are supplied with screws to fit to PVC, wooden and metal frames. Ceiling Brackets are also available. Matching coloured screw caps are also provided along with simple installation instructions. We supply all chain products with 3 wood screws and 3 self-tapping screws if brackets arent purchased - these can be used to hang the chain rail. We recommend a pair of brackets for each 1m width.

The hanging rail is hooked over the brackets when installing for a secure fit, but also easy to remove when needed.
